When thinking of Drenthe, one thinks of moores, forest and characteristic villages. And that's exactly what Ruinen has to offer!
The campsite is just outside of Ruinen, a genuine Drenthish village. Ruinen is situated near the edge of the Dwingelderveld National Park. In our sportive, friendly and hospitabel atmosphere you will feel at home immediately.

Excursions? There's a lot to choose from in the surroundings of the campingsite: hiking and biking in the forest or have a picknick on one of the sand-dunes or visit a hunnebed. But there's more, go and see the Emmen Zoo, roam in water-naturepark De Weerribben or check out the beautiful towns of Meppel, Assen or Hoogeveen.

Kids will enjoy Playtown Oranje, Trafficparc Assen or the Slagharen Themepark.
